Revealed last July, the PUBG-based TCG 'PUBG: FINAL CIRCLE'has announced its upcoming Kickstarter funding campaign.

CardMonster released the teaser trailer for 'PUBG: FINAL CIRCLE' on its official YouTube channel on August 16. PUBG: FINAL CIRCLE is a physical card game designed for two to five players, though specific funding start dates, target amounts, retail prices, and official launch schedules have not yet been disclosed.

Embracing the battle royale concept, the game has players choose characters with unique abilities and compete for survival against others. A new battlefield appears each round, requiring participants to secure weapons and items, engage opponents, and outlast everyone else. Tactics shift depending on character traits and equipment combinations, and the ultimate survivor is greeted with the iconic victory phrase 'Winner Winner Chicken Dinner'.

Combat unfolds as players take turns playing cards to determine victory or defeat. If a player holds a card matching the colour of the previously played card, that matching colour must be played; if none is held, a counter-colour card can be used to retaliate or inflict ambush damage. Furthermore, an inverse relationship exists between a card's number and its damage output. Higher-numbered cards make it easier to win but deal low damage, whereas high-damage cards are difficult to win with.

Meanwhile, CardMonster is a tabletop game developer established in Seoul in September 2023, led by CEO Son Su-hyun, who previously worked as a game designer and producer at Nexon, PUBG, and Krafton.
