Line Games has dropped the official demo for its self-developed PC title, QUIET, on the 22nd. Players can dive into the demo right now via Steam and the Epic Games Store.

This official demo focuses squarely on delivering a rock-solid playing environment, having squashed major bugs and optimized the build based on feedback harvested from the recent Steam playtest. Alongside a full core stage, a brand new attraction called the Arcade Stage, featuring 'Duck Out', has been bolted on. Supporting up to four players, this stage promises a delightfully different flavour of gameplay compared to the standard offerings.

Capitalising on enthusiastic player demand, Line Games is rolling out extras like a spaceship-themed lobby into the official demo. A cheeky batch of seasonal touches tailored for the upcoming Halloween is also in the pipeline. With the demo launch, QUIET is aggressively widening its global footprint. The title will join the Steam Scream Fest running from October 27 to November 3, and the team intends to keep chatting closely with the community moving forward.

QUIET spins a rather daft yarn about duck aliens crash-landing on Earth and trying to bolt before the landlady spots them, blending co-op comedy with mild horror. Supporting solo play or squads of up to four, it manages to dish out comical visuals alongside genuine tension. The earlier Steam playtest already turned heads globally, pulling in roughly 350,000 sign-ups from 148 countries. Line Games is currently eyeing a full commercial launch for QUIET in the first half of next year.
