This update puts together a fresh narrative reflecting on the journey so far through the epilogue of Part 2. Along with it, a brand-new S-rank character, Herrscher of Finality—wait, let's stick to the exact terms—Herrscher of Time, and various themed events have landed in the game.

The new S-rank character, Herrscher of Time, packs an imaginary attribute and dishes out fire elemental damage to foes. During combat, the character uses 'Reminiscence' skills to inflict past wounds on enemies. Non-HP reduction damage dealt to enemies by party members and collaborative characters is logged as 'Weight of Life', and there is a unique combat mechanic where this 'Weight of Life' is consumed via specific skills to deal HP reduction damage to foes. Version 9.1 also kicks off a character theme supply for the Herrscher of Time, with the first 10 supplies completely free. Dedicated drive core weapons and stigma sets have also been added.

In the theme event 'Meeting♪ Toy House of Memories', a brand-new story unfolds as Elysia runs the comprehensive arcade 'Meeting Miracle Shop' alongside companions. While exploring the in-game world, players get to meet companions of various jobs and easily level up character stats and equipment through an idle growth system. Rewards on offer include Crystals, Source Prisms, Chronicles of Time Medals, and the new 'Sweet Slumber Dream' costume for Astrologer—no, Starry Traveler.

In sync with this update, the main story Part 2 epilogue 'The Sea Sings in the Sound of Flames' has also dropped. Following the perspective of Dreamseeker, this epilogue lets players revisit memorable moments deeply imprinted throughout the Part 2 main storyline. On top of that, various events will roll out sequentially, showering players with bountiful items such as Crystals, characters, and costume selection boxes.

Meanwhile, Honkai Impact 3rd is set to run an illustration cafe and a limited-time collaboration cafe starting from October 31.
