LINE Games' cooperative horror comedy game QUIET has clinched the top spot in the most popular demo category at Steam Scream Fest. The QUIET demo is currently available for free on Steam and the Epic Games Store.

Hitting number one this time comes as yet another achievement following the success of the previous closed beta test for QUIET. Back then, over 350,000 players pre-registered, with 271,132 players participating across 148 countries.

QUIET is a co-op horror game where players become alien ducks that crash-landed on Earth, tasked with exploring a house to find spaceship parts while avoiding an unknown entity hiding nearby. Every sound generated in the game can spell disaster, meaning the player must tread carefully. A duck's quack, falling objects, and even actual voice chat can give away the player's position to the unknown entity.

The player must team up with up to 3 other players to recover spaceship parts and escape. However, a single loud mistake by one player can put the entire flock of ducks in peril, making teamwork crucial. The game blends stealth, teamwork, and the chaotic movements of ducks to deliver a unique horror co-op experience where survival depends on evading a constantly listening, menacing presence. It also offers various modes, including an arcade mode for competitive play instead of cooperation.
