Toree Saturn, a 3D platformer with a Nintendo 64-inspired aesthetic, has launched and secured a 'Very Positive' (93% positive) rating from Steam users.

Released on the 8th, Toree Saturn is the latest entry in the Toree series. Like its predecessors, it features 90s-style 3D graphics and straightforward gameplay. The protagonist is Toree, a yellow bird wearing sunglasses and a backpack, while the antagonist is Hawkee, a pink-hued doppelganger of Toree.

The core gameplay loop is similar to a racing game, where you sprint through short stages to reach the goal. You must utilize jump and double-jump mechanics to navigate without falling. Stepping on speed pads increases Toree's movement speed, and jumping to dash through stars suspended in the air allows you to traverse without touching the ground.

Unlike previous titles, Toree can now use special movement skills like an aerial dash. You can also collect stars and ice lollies during your run. Collecting a certain number of stars is required to access some hidden stages.
