The Korea e-Sports Association (KeSPA) has announced that the national finals of the 17th Presidential Cup Amateur eSports Tournament (KeG) will take place at the Jecheon Gymnasium in Jecheon, Chungbuk, on August 16 (Sat) and 17 (Sun).

The Presidential Cup KeG aims to foster balanced regional e-sports development and expand the amateur base, standing as the only government-backed national amateur e-sports competition, now in its 19th year. This year's event is hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, co-organized by KeSPA and Jecheon City, and supported by the Korea Creative Content Agency, Korean Sport & Olympic Committee, Korea Sports Promotion Foundation, Riot Games, Nexon Korea, Nimble Neuron, Supercell, SK Telecom, Sidiz, and Goal Studio.

The national finals kick off on August 16 (Sat) at 10:30 AM, featuring: ▲ League of Legends (Round of 16 to 8) ▲ FC Online (Round of 32 to 8) ▲ Eternal Return (Group rounds 1-6) ▲ Brawl Stars (Round of 16 to 8) ▲ Street Fighter 6 (Quarter-finals). The second day, August 17 (Sun), begins at 10:00 AM with the semi-finals, finals, and third-place matches for each title.

Competitors representing 16 cities and provinces across the nation will vie for the overall title, which includes the Presidential Award and a trophy. Category winners will receive the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Award. Prize pools are set at: ▲ League of Legends 5,000,000 KRW ▲ FC Online 5,000,000 KRW ▲ Eternal Return 8,000,000 KRW ▲ Brawl Stars 8,000,000 KRW ▲ Street Fighter 6 2,000,000 KRW. Notably, top finishers in the FC Online national finals will earn a seed for the 2025 FC ONLINE FUTURES LEAGUE (FFL) Summer main event.

The venue will be packed with interactive booths and side events for attendees. Expect zones featuring arcade games, board games, indie games, the SK Telecom AI Playground, an MSI booth, e-sports title trial zones, Jecheon City promotional booths, a Clean e-Sports campaign, and a KeSPA booth.

To keep the energy high, a variety of events are scheduled. On the 16th (Sat), look out for fan meetings featuring the Jecheon Phalanx FC Mobile, PUBG Mobile, and Eternal Return teams. On the 17th (Sun), Jecheon native and commentator 'Kkokkogod' Go Su-jin will host a talk concert, while creator 'Shiro' Park Je-hyun will lead a Brawl Stars Showdown and an FC Online superfan search. Participants can walk away with prizes like Brawl Stars merchandise and Nexon Cash.

The national finals will be broadcast live via Chzzk, SOOP, and the official YouTube channel. In addition to the main feed, influencer-led broadcasts will also be available, featuring the likes of 'Nuclear' Shin Jung-hyun for LoL, 'Jedoksin' Park Jun-hyo for FC Online, and the aforementioned commentary teams for other titles.
