The global distribution partner for the upcoming title Crimson Desert has been confirmed.

Pearl Abyss announced on the 27th that it has signed a global physical distribution partnership for Crimson Desert with PLAION. Crimson Desert is an open-world action-adventure game that follows the stories of mercenaries fighting for their survival across the vast continent of Pywel. The game is scheduled for a simultaneous global release on PC and consoles early next year.

PLAION is a global company that has published and distributed PC and console games across various genres, including popular IPs such as Kingdom Come: Deliverance, Dead Island, and Saints Row. Headquartered in Munich, Germany, the company operates branches in 34 countries and regions, including the US, UK, France, and Japan.

By leveraging PLAION's global distribution network and expertise, Pearl Abyss plans to expand physical retail channels for Crimson Desert and implement region-specific distribution strategies.

Meanwhile, Pearl Abyss is set to launch Crimson Desert early next year.
