A high-difficulty challenge has arrived, where death means no resurrection or re-entry.

LINE Games announced on the 5th that it has launched the new 'Gate of the Abyss' season for UNDECEMBER. The publisher claims this season focuses on satisfying the players' itch for a challenge with high-difficulty content and providing an unprecedented array of seasonal rewards.

First, the new 'Gate of the Abyss' content has been unveiled, turning the heat up well beyond the existing 'Chaos Dungeon'. Within this gate, if the character meets a grisly end, there is no coming back—no revives, no re-entries. You must slay the boss to claim your loot, which includes exclusive 'Abyss Stones' and materials for the newly added equipment slot enhancements.

The 'Abyss Stones' come in three flavours: Dawn, Ruin, and Distortion. 'Dawn Abyss Stone' amplifies the stats of specific gear types, while 'Ruin Abyss Stone' boosts specific relic equipment. As for the 'Distortion Abyss Stone', it allows for a complete mechanical overhaul of existing skills. Alongside these items, new skill runes 'Wrathful Blow' and 'Poison Mist', plus the link rune 'Chain Pain', have been added to the mix.

Meanwhile, LINE Games is rolling out a series of generous events to celebrate the start of the new season.
