Krafton is set to host the 'PUBG Seongsu 2026 WWCD Chimaek Party - Samttuk-ri Whole Chicken Feast' at its offline space PUBG Seongsu, running for five days from October 7 to 11. Now in its third consecutive year following 2024 and 2025, this event is held as a linked program of the '2026 Creative Seongsu' festival.

This year's 'WWCD Chimaek Party' takes its inspiration from 'Winner Winner Chicken Dinner (WWCD)', the iconic catchphrase of the PUBG franchise. Part of the 'Tasty Seongsu' initiative—itself a program under the global creative cultural industry festival '2026 Creative Seongsu' hosted by Seongdong-gu and organized by the '2026 CreativeXSeongsu' planning committee and the Seongdong Cultural Foundation—the event leans into local lore. The concept, 'Samttuk-ri Whole Chicken Feast', draws from 'Tteokduri', the historical name of Seongsu-dong, blending traditional whole chicken with the distinct local vibe of Seongsu. The PUBG Seongsu Playground will be transformed into a vibrant village banquet atmosphere centered around traditional pyeong-sang (flat wooden benches) for visitors to enjoy together.

Local establishments in the Seongsu area are also joining the festivities. Five chicken specialty franchises alongside local dessert vendors will serve up whole chicken, fried chicken, beer, and desserts, keeping alive the spirit of Tasty Seongsu by spotlighting local culinary delights in collaboration with the PUBG Seongsu Chimaek Party. In addition, 'Taengyi & Tingyi', original characters crafted specifically for this Chimaek party, will make their debut. Created in collaboration with artist OKEH, these characters will pop up across the venue through interactive programs, photo zones, and exclusive merchandise.

A variety of hands-on activities await visitors. Highlights include 'TANG to TING' and 'TING-PONG' featuring the 'Taengyi & Tingyi' characters, a 'PUBG Seongsu Chicken Fight Tournament', and lucky draws offering prizes such as a gold dae-don (one don of pure gold). A special edition of PUBG Seongsu's regular participatory program, 'One Million Won Pang', will also be held.

A representative for PUBG Seongsu stated, "Now celebrating its third year, the WWCD Chimaek Party is designed to fuse the iconic elements of PUBG with the local culture of Seongsu for everyone to enjoy together. The representative added that whether gaming fans or everyday visitors to Seongsu, everyone is welcome to experience a unique festival combining food, games, and music at the 'Samttuk-ri Whole Chicken Feast'."

The 'PUBG Seongsu 2026 WWCD Chimaek Party – Samttuk-ri Whole Chicken Feast' will take place daily from 2 PM to 10 PM at the PUBG Seongsu Playground (5 Wangsimni-ro 4-gil, Seongdong-gu, Seoul) from October 7 to 11, with free admission for all. F&B zones, photo booths, and character merchandise booths will also be operated throughout the event.
