The LCK season might be wrapped up for the year and the League of Legends World Championship is looming in mid-October, but the international circuit simply refuses to take a breather. Fresh off South Korea securing consecutive gold medals at the Asian Games on October 2, the Demacia Cup kicked off on October 3, featuring teams from six regions including the LCK. KT Rolster, BNK FearX, and OKSavingsBank BRION are stepping into the fray, with KT and BNK currently riding a solid winning streak to build up some serious momentum.

And if that is not enough, the World Championship begins on October 16 over in the United States, with Gen.G, Hanwha Life Esports, T1, and Dplus KIA representing the LCK. Between the Asian Games, the Demacia Cup, and Worlds, fans are getting an absolute marathon of international tournaments all through October. It remains to be seen whether the LCK can follow up on that back-to-back Asian Games dominance and prove their formidable strength once again.
