The newest installment in the To the Moon series, which wraps up the narrative of the Sigmund series, will reveal its demo at the October Next Fest.

Freebird Games announced the demo release schedule for The Last Hour of an Epic TO THE MOON RPG (hereafter To the Moon RPG) on October 2nd. This title has drawn significant attention for wrapping up the decade-long Sigmund series in a completely different JRPG style than before.

Scheduled for release in 2027, the title is being crafted under the unique concept of loading 99 hours of progression data to face the final hour of this grand epic. The demo for To the Moon RPG will debut via Steam Next Fest on October 19, though the exact length of the demo remains under wraps.

Meanwhile, To the Moon RPG blends pixel art based on classic JRPG grammar with turn-based combat, puzzles, and deductive elements. Players will take control of four main series characters—Neil Watts, Eva Rosalene, Rob, and Roxie—on an adventure where the developer has packed encounters with various familiar faces from across the entire series.
