XD has revealed details for 'Otherworld', the upcoming SS10 season for their hack-and-slash action title, Torchlight: Infinite.

During the SS10 preview broadcast held on the 29th, the team showcased the core content and combat mechanics for the new season. The highlight is the 'Otherworld' itself, where players explore time-limited dungeons up to four floors deep, accessed via 'Doors' found in the nether-realms.

Players progress to deeper levels based on their performance, with rewards stacking as the danger increases. Additionally, the 'Shadow in a Bottle' system allows players to accumulate and buff resources such as fuel, gear, and compasses. The season also features exclusive events like the 'Otherworld Disturbance', the hidden boss 'Door Hunter', and the loot-carrying monster 'Floating Head'.

The new hero trait, 'Escapist Bing: Creative Genius', was also introduced. This combat style involves retrofitting existing bomb skills into 'Creative Machines' that accumulate and detonate energy, allowing players to choose from various builds such as mobility, overload, or automated bombardment.

Furthermore, the 'Xeno Prism' system, which expands the growth structure, and a combo skill system utilizing start-and-finish sequences were also unveiled.

Torchlight: Infinite SS10 'Otherworld' is scheduled to begin on October 11th.
