Com2uS released the new 'Aster' progression system for The Starlight on the 29th. It is a new growth mechanic designed to expand character stats and add unique personality to their identity.

You can equip Asters across six distinct stone slabs. Combining a specific number of Asters with the same patterns or grades triggers a set effect. These slabs unlock as you complete certain quests, and once you fill every slot, a central pattern awakens to grant you new abilities.

This system moves beyond the traditional gear-and-level-focused structure, allowing players to tailor their character's growth based on their preferred combat style and role. By aligning patterns on these slabs to trigger 'Resonance Effects', you can gain various perks such as bonus PvP damage, increased defense, or status effect resistance depending on your setup.

Meanwhile, Com2uS is celebrating the update with several events, including a 50-day anniversary celebration.
