Wobbly Life, the sandbox adventure game often dubbed the 'GTA for kids', is set to be adapted into a film and TV series. The production company behind this project is Prime Universe Films, known for producing the Hitman movies based on the IO Interactive franchise.

Wobbly Life is an open-world sandbox adventure game developed by RubberBandGames, which officially launched on September 19 after five years in Early Access. In the game, players wander around Wobbly Island, taking on various jobs, earning money, and engaging in diverse activities. The full release version also added content that allows players to become astronauts and explore beyond Earth.

Now, Wobbly Life is being adapted into a film and TV series. Entertainment media outlet Deadline reported on the 9th that producer Adrian Askarieh and Prime Universe Films are participating in the development of the Wobbly Life film and TV projects.

Producer Askarieh stated, "I was immediately drawn to the delightful world of Wobbly Life and the quirky characters that have captivated millions of players," adding, "The game's explosive growth is a testament to the power of its world-building, and I am thrilled to collaborate with RubberBandGames to produce this for film and television."

Producer Askarieh and Prime Universe Films have previous experience in adapting games into films, having participated in the production of 2007's Hitman and 2015's Hitman: Agent 47. Both films received negative reviews from fans and critics alike regarding their story, pacing, and casting.
