Mgame announced on the 12th that it has signed a contract extension with its Chinese partner, Beijing Hoolai Interactive (hereinafter Beijing Hoolai), to continue the service of the online MMORPG 'Scions of Fate' (known as 'Yulgang Online' in Korea) in China.

The contract spans three years, from March 2026 to March 2029, with a value of approximately 10 million USD (roughly 14.686 billion KRW).

Mgame and Beijing Hoolai have maintained a partnership for over two decades, signing a total of nine contracts since the service launched in 2005. Beijing Hoolai has played a key role in establishing 'Scions of Fate' as a long-running title in the Chinese market through its deep local insight and stable operational capabilities.

The Chinese version of 'Scions of Fate' saw a resurgence in 2019, hitting record-high revenues following a siege warfare update and Singles' Day events. In 2023, the company signed a licensing agreement with Chinese gaming giant 'Kingnet Technology' regarding the use of its graphical assets.

Beijing Hoolai CEO Sun Jingqing stated, "Based on our long-standing collaboration with Mgame, we plan to provide a stable service for 'Scions of Fate' in China," adding, "We will continue to strive to provide new content for our players to enjoy."

Mgame CEO Kwon Yi-hyung remarked, "'Scions of Fate' is a core IP with proven success in the Chinese market, and this renewal reaffirms its competitive edge. We will focus on stable operations and enhancing the value of the IP through close cooperation with our partner."
