Indie development team Kupstudio has officially launched their desktop utility title, 'PomoTrain: Rabbit Town', on Steam this January 21st. It’s a unique hybrid that combines the Pomodoro time-management technique with a rabbit village simulation, drawing attention for its innovative genre blend.

Rather than occupying the full screen, the game functions as a 'desktop accessory'. You track your focus time during work, and in return, you are rewarded with resources to decorate your train station and village. Watching the scenery roll by outside the train window while the rabbits move about offers visual relaxation, making it popular among the 'deskterior' crowd who want to decorate their monitors aesthetically. It has already been recognized for its game quality by exceeding its funding goal on Tumblbug.

Kupstudio CEO Lee Hee-sang stated, "Beyond simple entertainment, we hope this becomes a tool that genuinely boosts the user's productivity in their daily life," adding, "We hope it settles in as a sort of digital houseplant—something that offers a moment of healing while you’re in the thick of your workday."
