Hotta Studio has officially kicked off the closed beta for its supernatural urban open-world RPG, Neverness to Everness, known as the 'Symbiosis Test' starting on the 6th.

Powered by Unreal Engine 5, Neverness to Everness boasts a sprawling, seamless open world. You begin your journey in Hethereau City, teaming up with characters who possess supernatural quirks to unravel the city's hidden mysteries. Crucially, this build includes full Korean voice acting and text support, aiming to pull local players deeper into the urban sprawl.

Beyond the main narrative, the test is packed with new content. You can try your hand at fishing, deliveries, or working a cafe shift, and even collect or customize your own fleet of sports cars. It is all about that open-world freedom, including racing through the streets of Hethereau with your friends.

The test also introduces several new playable characters designed to keep the combat feeling punchy, alongside new social systems that allow you to bond with them. A host of new costumes has arrived, too. The promotional video for Mint, released alongside the start of the test, perfectly captures the unique charm of the characters in Neverness to Everness.
