Marking its arrival on June 6 (local time), the Summer Game Fest will host an online showcase dedicated to LGBTQ+ games and the queer developers behind them.

Gayming, a media outlet focused on the intersection of gaming and LGBTQ+ culture, announced on the 5th that the 'Gayming Pride Parade' will be held as an official stream program for Summer Game Fest. The event is designed to spotlight LGBTQ+ representation in games and introduce queer developers active in the industry.

Gayming was founded in June 2019 as a media outlet for gamers and the LGBTQ+ community. Since 2021, they have hosted the 'Gayming Awards' in collaboration with partners like EA, Twitch, and Logitech to select the LGBTQ+ Game of the Year. The Gayming Awards 2025 GOTY was awarded to 'Dragon Age: The Veilguard'.

The event will follow a 'virtual pride parade' concept, featuring a total of 10 games. Each title will be presented with trailers, developer interviews, and commentary. Through this event, Gayming plans to showcase diverse queer creators and their games to a global audience.

Meanwhile, Gayming is currently accepting submissions for the showcase. Eligible projects must include elements such as LGBTQ+ character narratives or be projects where a majority of the team consists of queer developers. Additionally, entries must include new information to be revealed during the event, such as new title announcements, release dates, or major updates.
