Tencent Cloud unveiled its AI-driven gaming solutions at the Game Developers Conference (GDC) 2026. These solutions aim to enhance connectivity, creativity, and security for next-generation game development.

At the event, Tencent Cloud announced the expansion of its Game Multimedia Engagement Solution (GMES). GMES integrates the Game Multimedia Engine and strengthens its AI-based product offerings, expanding the GVoice solution to provide a more immersive voice chat experience.

GVoice features AI-Enhanced Voice, providing Automatic Speech Recognition and AI-driven voice synthesis. Additionally, 'Magic Voice' is an AI module that allows users to modify their tone or create natural-sounding voices. Real-Time Translation features also enable seamless voice communication between players worldwide.

Shichuan Liu, Head of Tencent Cloud Gaming Solutions, stated, "In this hyper-connected era, AI plays a crucial role in player experience, immersion, and creation. GMES expands the GVoice multimedia solution to help users worldwide interact naturally. Through GDC 2026, we are focused on helping developers create new player experiences, ensuring an enjoyable gaming experience for everyone." Krafton’s PUBG MOBILE and Delta Force are currently utilizing 5th-generation GVoice communication technology to provide better audio quality and enhanced voice interaction.

To address the threats in increasingly complex gaming environments, Tencent Cloud protects game integrity with AI security solutions. Tencent Cloud EdgeOne and Anti-Cheat Expert (ACE) provide advanced protection and identify malicious player behavior. Tencent Cloud is also strengthening security using edge computing. By adding 'Edge Security' features, it enhances player experience through AI inference and interactions with non-player characters (NPCs), building an AI computing edge.

Tencent Cloud's AI-based security features provide AI cloud protection. The anti-cheat function has achieved an 80% threat detection rate with a 0.2% false positive rate. AI computing edge technology provides real-time AI inference with latency under 0.5ms. Tencent Cloud is collaborating with Delta Force, currently in alpha testing, to provide protection using Layer 4 TCP and Anycast, while defending against Layer 7 attacks. Anti-Cheat Expert protects Tencent games in over 20 regions, ensuring a "safe, sustainable, and fair" gaming environment. ACE provides comprehensive anti-cheat mechanisms, including AI behavior recognition, signature matching, and keyboard/mouse behavior recognition.

Soul Knight Prequel utilizes various features of Tencent Cloud ACE to ensure a fair gaming experience for players. At GDC 2026, Tencent also introduced the HY 3D AI tool. This tool converts various types of content—including text, images, audio, and video—into 3D models. The goal is to accelerate the production of 3D content such as 3D characters, items, scenes, animations, and special effects. This 3D AI tool also helps developers easily generate 3D content.

Through a partnership with CGTrader, Tencent is activating the creator community and fostering AI creators. Maxon’s Cinema 4D will integrate with the HY 3D tool, with a release scheduled for 2026. Tencent Cloud also provides new features to developers through its Agent Development Platform. This includes RAG-based creative assistance tools, knowledge-based Q&A system development, and multi-modal analysis functions to increase development efficiency.

In the gaming solutions sector, Tencent Cloud collaborates with over 100 game developers worldwide. Numerous games under Tencent Games, such as PUBG MOBILE and Honor of Kings, are serviced within the Tencent Cloud environment. Games from Netmarble, including Love and Deepspace, Ragnarok Online 3, Lucky Defense, and Soul Knight Prequel, are also serviced via Tencent Cloud. Tencent Cloud supports game developers in providing stable global services.
