Netmarble announced on the 25th that it has released an update for its MMORPG Raven 2, developed by Netmarble Monster, which includes the new 'Balton' region. This update also introduces a new growth system called 'Weapon Resonance' along with commemorative events.

The newly unveiled 'Balton' is one of the hegemonic nations of the western continent, featuring a concept of an empire corrupted by distorted faith. This region consists of four areas—Rinevita, Sigrund, Erenpad, and Latzbet—and 14 hunting grounds. Players level 75 and above can proceed with quests, and defeating the field boss 'Blazing Hatred Vargas' in the Balton Empire hunting grounds rewards players with items such as the exclusive Heavenstone 'Giant Smash.'

Netmarble is hosting several events to celebrate the 'Balton' update. First, participating in the 'Balton Empire 14-Day Gift' attendance event provides a total of 110 summon tickets. Additionally, in the 'Various Balton Foundations' event, players can acquire 'Remnants of Light,' which can be exchanged for items such as 'Heroic Heavenstone Abrasives,' 'Radiant Rare Heavenstone Chests,' and 'Heroic Crafting Blueprints.'

Along with the 'Balton' region, special graces will be applied to the 'Synerim,' 'Akehon,' 'Alteia,' and 'Rungard' regions for two weeks. 'Grace of Hunting' provides +5 accuracy, +3 damage to normal monsters, and -2 damage taken from normal monsters, while 'Grace of Growth' offers a 50% XP bonus and a 100% gold bonus.

Meanwhile, the new growth system 'Weapon Resonance' has also been added through this update. 'Weapon Resonance' can be acquired through methods such as 'Chaos Coin Exchange,' 'Shop Item Purchase,' and 'Gold Summons.'
