Nexon announced on the 26th that it has released a teaser video for 'Hyeokhwarang', a new class commemorating the 30th anniversary of The Kingdom of the Winds. Scheduled for release on April 2nd, the Hyeokhwarang class will be introduced alongside the new Silla region.

The teaser video showcases the Hyeokhwarang, who inherits the will of the Hwarang, wielding a hwandudaedo sword and a gakgung bow. The class features the ability to utilize 'Hyeonwol', the power of Mago, to deliver powerful strikes to multiple enemies. It is expected that the core of its combat style will be the fluid integration of melee and ranged attacks using both weapons.

Meanwhile, The Kingdom of the Winds, which launched in 1996, celebrates its 30th anniversary this year with a massive update on April 2nd. In addition to the new Silla region and the Hyeokhwarang class, the update includes a 9th promotion, an expansion of the level cap to 949, two new level-5 raids, the new legendary Vritra equipment, and a weekly co-op content called 'Goe-ryeok-nan-sin'.
