The Gyeonggi Content Agency (GCA) is accepting applications until April 30 for its 2026 Design Solution Lab internship program, aimed at strengthening the design competitiveness of local companies and enhancing the practical skills of young designers.

This program was established to connect intern designers with local companies struggling to secure design talent, thereby supporting design improvements for participating firms and providing young designers with real-world industry experience.

Eligible companies must be based in Gyeonggi Province with at least three full-time employees, and a total of 20 companies will be selected. The program provides support for intern wages based on 2.5 million KRW per month for up to two months, with additional subsidies provided if the intern is hired as a permanent employee after the internship.

Young designers aged 19 to 39 residing in the northern Gyeonggi region are eligible to apply. Those with a design-related degree or practical experience are encouraged to apply, with 30 individuals to be selected for a two-month placement.

The program operates by recruiting both companies and designers, after which selected companies conduct interviews based on a 'designer pool.' This approach aims to place personnel that meet corporate needs and foster practical, field-oriented design solutions.

The internship period runs from July 1 to August 31, 2026. Selected designers will be placed in the field after completing preliminary job training. They will also participate in various follow-up programs, such as performance showcases and mock interview consulting.
