Kakao Games has rolled out its April update for 'SMiniz', the mobile title built upon the SM Entertainment IP.

The event celebrates artists with birthdays in April. By completing in-game missions, players can earn various rewards, including puzzle items. The company is also selling special packages containing exclusive birthday costumes, member-specific profile images, and photo-deco stickers.

The 'Photo Deco' feature, which allows players to customize their photo cards, now includes a retro theme, and a commemorative contest is being held. Special rewards will be given to the contest winners.

SMiniz is a match-3 puzzle game that launched on February 25 in South Korea, Japan, Taiwan, North America, and Europe. It features 'Miniz' characters based on SM Entertainment artists, allowing players to enjoy puzzle gameplay with their favorite characters.

According to data released by Sensor Tower last March, 'SMiniz' ranked first in downloads in the 'Global Idol-themed Puzzle Game' category within a month of its release.
