Joycity, with its subsidiary Ure at the helm, has announced that the second closed beta test for the PC version of its football title 'Freestyle Football 2' will kick off on May 8. Registration for the test opened on the 6th, and you will be able to play across Steam and Xbox on PC.

The team is laser-focused on optimising the new PC environment and stress-testing the game's core mechanics. The test will run from May 8 to 9, with servers active between 8 PM and midnight (Asia server time). Joycity says the decision to bring the game to PC follows a successful first console test, aiming to let a global audience get a taste of what 'Freestyle Football 2' has to offer.

You can look forward to the same immersive 1-player, 1-character control scheme and the tactical depth of 5v5 team play that earned praise during the initial test. This time, you will also get to play as 'Quri', a brand-new character of Korean origin.

The developer has been busy sifting through feedback from the official Discord and various surveys, resulting in tweaks to matchmaking balance and a refined UI/UX. Ure CEO Kim Myung-soo noted, "We are thrilled to bring our game to a broader range of players via PC," adding that they are "committed to perfecting the PC optimisation during this second closed beta."
