The turn-based mobile RPG Epic Seven has officially launched its new global online esports league, 'Epic Seven Masters.' Following the group draw held on the 4th, the tournament has begun its two-month journey as of the 6th. With a total prize pool of $34,000 (approximately 50 million KRW), the competition offers the winner and runner-up a direct seed to the 'Epic Seven World Championship (E7WC) 2026' Round of 16.

Epic Seven Masters is a new online esports league launching this year, featuring top players from the 2026 Spring World Arena season competing for an E7WC seed. Smilegate expects this tournament to provide fresh excitement for Epic Seven fans, building upon the success of the E7WC, which has established itself as a premier mobile esports festival in Korea.

The league features a double-elimination format for both the group and knockout stages. The group stage is divided into a Global group (Global and Europe servers) and an Asia group (Korea, Asia, and Japan servers). The group stage will take place every Saturday at noon for four weeks, from April 11th to May 2nd. The knockout stage is scheduled for May 16th, 17th, and 23rd, with the grand final taking place on May 30th.

The champion will receive $15,000 (approx. 22 million KRW), and the runner-up will receive $10,000 (approx. 15 million KRW). Both will also secure a direct seed to the E7WC 2026 Round of 16. Prize money will be awarded to the top eight finishers based on their final rankings. All matches of the Epic Seven Masters will be broadcast live on the official Epic Seven YouTube channel.

Through this new online league, Smilegate plans to expand opportunities for user participation in esports and strengthen the foundation of Epic Seven esports alongside the E7WC, which is scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2026.
