Riot's League of Legends-based fighting game, 2XKO, received its 1.1.5 patch on the 8th. This update introduces a variety of content, including the arrival of the new champion Akali, the long-awaited local two-player mode, and various in-game events offering rewards.

The most notable addition is the new assassin champion, Akali. She specializes in using sharp daggers, shuriken, and her signature 'Twilight Shroud' ability. She can enhance her special moves by deploying the shroud, and while she has lower health, she boasts exceptional mobility. In particular, her double jump and wall jump capabilities allow her to easily gain the upper hand in aerial mind games.

To unlock Akali, you need 1,000 KO Points or one Champion Token. She can also be obtained by purchasing the Ultimate Battle Pass, or through a three-week champion recruitment event that offers a chance to acquire her for free. If you want to test her performance before purchasing, you can freely try her out in training or offline modes.

Along with the addition of Akali, a local two-player mode has been introduced. By connecting two controllers to a single device, friends can sit side-by-side and form a team for online matches. The character proficiency and mission progress of the partner are also tracked, and the account XP and credit rewards granted after matches are doubled, significantly enhancing the benefits of cooperative play.

Some combat balance adjustments have also been made. When using the 'Handshake Tag', if the attack fails to connect, the recovery time is increased, and the player cannot use defensive techniques for the following 15 frames. Additionally, meter gain from excessively long combos or defensive actions has been reduced, while the 'Release' gauge, used for escaping dangerous situations, now fills faster during combos. Furthermore, the performance of Ekko, Vi, Braum, and Ahri has been nerfed, while Jinx, Caitlyn, and Blitzcrank have been buffed.

The Spirit Blossom event, set in the Ionian universe, will run from April 10 to May 1. Completing missions will reward players with six avatar skins, exclusive emotes, stickers, and two special titles. Additionally, the match replay feature has been improved, allowing players to check hitboxes, frame data, and input history in detail while paused.
