Krafton has rolled out the 41.1 update for PUBG. This patch introduces the fresh 'Xeno Point' mode and unveils a collaboration contender system featuring 'Stellar Blade'. Furthermore, the update brings back content from the collaboration with global artists aespa, alongside various system refinements.

The new Xeno Point mode is a co-op PvE rogue-lite experience where you fend off extraterrestrial threats invading the Miramar region. With randomized stages and a progression system, every run promises a distinct combat flavour. It blends cosmic horror—complete with alien foes and abilities—into the game's gritty, realistic military setting. You and your squad will venture out from a central Hub, clear various zones, and eventually square off against the final boss, the Architect.

The mode offers a suite of growth mechanics, including 'Bluechip' skills that let you build for offence, defence, or support, plus powerful alien 'Super Skills'. As you dive into repeated sessions, you'll invest skill points to bolster your character and wield signature alien tech like the 'Xeno Cannon'. With missions ranging from gathering and site occupation to boss takedowns, there is plenty to sink your teeth into. An 'Event Pass: Xeno Point' has also been released to accompany the mode.

The collaboration with action game Stellar Blade is particularly interesting, marking the first time the 'contender system' has been used for an IP crossover. EVE, the protagonist of Stellar Blade, lands in the PUBG universe, reimagined as a survivor rather than humanity's saviour. You can kit her out in various outfits, including her iconic suit and casual wear, complete with custom emotes, lobby poses, and flashy kill effects. A host of themed items like gear sets, machetes, and weapon charms are also up for grabs.

If you missed out before, the collaboration content with global artists aespa is back on the market. From character skins and emote packs to weapon and pan skins, everything is returning for a limited window. You have from April 22nd to April 30th to snap these up. Other updates include the expansion of the terrain destruction system to the Erangel map, the addition of the Level 3 Jammer Pack, and a new feature at Bluechip Transmitter towers that lets you call in supplies using enemy Bluechips.
