The activity area for Nexon's iconic mascots, Bazzi and Dao, is shrinking. Following the service termination of KartRider: Drift last year, the long-standing Bubble Fighter is also closing its doors.

Nexon announced the service termination on the official Bubble Fighter website on April 23. Regarding this decision, a Nexon representative stated, "We have determined that it is difficult to provide a satisfactory service to our users in the long run, and thus have decided to terminate the Bubble Fighter service."

Sales of paid items ceased on April 23, and items in the cash inventory can be refunded within seven days of purchase. The refund request period runs from April 23 to July 29, and payouts will be processed in Nexon Cash starting in mid-August.

Refund eligibility covers: ▲ All paid items purchased between 10:30 AM on February 22 of this year and April 23 ▲ Unused items purchased with Nexon Cash from 10:30 AM on April 22 last year through 10:30 AM on April 23 this year ▲ Remaining paid consumables or time-limited items purchased with Nexon Cash during that same period.

PC Bang premium perks and various events were also discontinued on April 23, though a 'Free Day' event will remain active until the service ends. Note that the official website will also close on June 24, so make sure to archive any necessary posts before then.

Launched in 2009, Bubble Fighter was introduced as the third entry in the series, following Crazy Arcade BnB and KartRider. It is a casual shooter where series stalwarts like Dao and Bazzi engage in water-gun skirmishes. The game has continued its service for 17 years, consistently adding new maps, modes, and costumes.

Its sibling, KartRider, has also closed its PC online service. The original KartRider ended service in March 2023 to make way for its successor, and KartRider: Drift, which took over the baton, ended last October. Domestically, only the mobile titles KartRider Rush+ and Crazy Arcade BnB remain.
