SEGA Publishing Korea has officially signed on for 'MGM IP UNIVERSE 2026', an experiential retail renewal project helmed by Mario Outlet in Gasan-dong, Seoul. This project combines major Korean and Japanese IP to provide a unique shopping and entertainment experience, with the grand opening set for May 1st. Mario Outlet is located at 23 Digital-ro 9-gil, Geumcheon-gu, Seoul, and operates from 10:30 AM to 9:00 PM on weekdays, and until 9:30 PM from Friday to Sunday.

As the first phase of this project, SEGA is installing a dedicated pop-up shop and a mini-museum on the 5th floor of Mario Outlet's Building 1. Notably, the 'SEGA STORE', which received positive feedback from fans in Tokyo and Shanghai last year, is making its first-ever domestic appearance in a pop-up format.

The pop-up store will feature a wide range of character merchandise from popular titles by SEGA and Atlus. Key titles include 'Sonic the Hedgehog', 'Like a Dragon', 'Project Sekai Colorful Stage! feat. Hatsune Miku', 'Puyo Puyo', and the 'Persona' series. Additionally, original goods featuring the 'SEGA Logo' and popular items previously sold only at the 'SEGA STORE TOKYO' in Japan will be available.

Alongside the pop-up store, the mini-museum 'SEGA: THE HISTORY OF FUN' will showcase materials covering the history of SEGA's gaming culture. The exhibit includes history boards documenting SEGA's past, as well as nostalgic hardware, arcade cabinets, and major game software that defined the era. A dedicated photo zone recreating the unique 1990s gaming aesthetic and lifestyle will also be installed.
