The new content unlocks after completing the main game and supports various difficulty levels. Clearing stages allows players to challenge higher difficulties. Players will encounter enemies glowing in red and blue that are powered up, as well as golden spiders that provide additional time.

Along with the update, the Steam version now supports PS5 DualSense features, including adaptive triggers, controller vibration, and motion sensor functionality.

바이오하자드 레퀴엠에 본편 클리어 후 즐길 수 있는 무료 콘텐츠가 추가됐다. 레온의 액션을 마음껏 즐길 수 있는 '레온 머스트 다이 포에버(LEON MUST DIE FOREVER)'다.

캡콤은 8일 바이오하자드 레퀴엠에 무료 업데이트를 진행했다. 신규 콘텐츠 '레온 머스트 다이 포에버'에서는 이 콘텐츠에서만 즐길 수 있는 레온의 '강화약 효과'를 개방하며 액션을 즐길 수 있다. 이를 통해 제한 시간 내에 여러 스테이지를 클리어하고, 최종 보스를 쓰러뜨러야 한다.

새로운 콘텐츠는 본편을 클리어한 후 개방되며, 여러 난이도를 지원한다. 클리어하면 더 높은 난이도에 도전하는 방식이다. 붉은색, 푸른색으로 빛나는 강화된 적도 나타나며, 추가 시간을 확보할 수 있는 황금빛 거미도 등장한다.

업데이트와 함께 스팀 버전에서도 PS5 듀얼센스의 어댑티브 트리거, 컨트롤러 진동, 모션 센서 기능을 이용할 수 있게 됐다.
