The Jeonnam Information & Culture Industry Promotion Agency (the Agency) is now recruiting indie game developers and prospective entrepreneurs for its 2026 production support program. This initiative is designed to build a support system for each growth stage of the game ecosystem in the Jeonnam region.

The total funding is 100 million KRW, divided into two categories based on the nature of the applicants. The indie game production support category will select two companies, providing approximately 30 million KRW per project. The indie game startup support category will select two prospective entrepreneurs, providing approximately 20 million KRW per project.

Any game company with its headquarters in Jeonnam as of the announcement date, or any prospective entrepreneur planning to establish a headquarters in Jeonnam after selection, is eligible to apply. The supported categories include all fields such as PC online, mobile, console, arcade, and augmented reality (AR). Selected companies must develop a game at the beta version level or higher by the end of the agreement period.

The application period is from May 12 to 5:00 PM on June 9. Applications must be submitted online via the national subsidy management system, e-Nara Help.

Lee In-yong, head of the Agency, stated, "We hope this project creates an environment where game companies and prospective entrepreneurs in Jeonnam can freely produce games based on their creativity," adding, "We plan to actively support the creation of unique content with market competitiveness, and we look forward to the interest and participation of talented game developers."
