VALORANT is celebrating its Act 4 update with the 'PC Bang VAL Fragment event'. The event will run for approximately eight weeks, starting from Wednesday, the 24th, through Tuesday, August 18. Players can enjoy new content at PC Bangs and collect VAL Fragments to exchange for various rewards.

This VAL Fragment event is designed for easy participation. Logging into the event page for the first time grants 100 VAL Fragments immediately. Additionally, players earn 10 VAL Fragments for every 10 minutes of VALORANT played at a PC Bang. Notably, playing the new map 'Summit' or the special mode 'Escalation' introduced in the Act 4 update will provide up to 300 additional VAL Fragments. Players can collect a maximum of 7,120 VAL Fragments during the event period.

Collected VAL Fragments can be used at the 'VAL Fragment Exchange' on the event page. They can be exchanged for various in-game items, including Radianite Points, which are typically only obtainable through the Battle Pass. Players also have the opportunity to enter a draw for various prizes, including gaming gear and VALORANT merchandise.

Riot Games views PC Bangs as a core hub for players to enjoy games in their daily lives and is continuously expanding PC Bang-linked events across its titles. For instance, earlier this year, they provided cumulative playtime rewards for the League of Legends 2026 Season 1 launch and offered coupons for playing the new character Caitlyn in the 2v2 fighting game 2XKO at PC Bangs. This VALORANT VAL Fragment event is a continuation of this strategy to strengthen PC Bang engagement.

The VAL Fragment event has received positive feedback since its debut in 2022, with its effectiveness clearly reflected in participation metrics. When the 'Returning PC Bang VAL Fragment event' was held last March for Act 2—the first time in about two years—approximately 80,000 players participated, effectively encouraging VALORANT gameplay at PC Bangs.
