Mgame announced on the 1st that it has cancelled 430,000 of its treasury shares to stabilize its stock price and enhance shareholder value. The cancelled shares were acquired in May and represent approximately 2.24% of the total issued shares. Following the cancellation, the company's total number of outstanding shares will decrease from 19,202,574 to 18,772,574.

This reduction is being carried out by directly decreasing the number of shares in circulation without reducing capital stock. This is expected to prevent the dilution of value per share and further solidify the company's shareholder-friendly policies. Previously, in March, Mgame announced through a voluntary disclosure its intention to implement various measures to enhance shareholder value as part of its commitment to continuous shareholder returns.

Additionally, Mgame's board of directors decided on June 26 to purchase an additional 503,778 treasury shares, valued at approximately 2 billion KRW (1,999,998,660 KRW). This acquisition will be conducted directly on the KOSDAQ market until September 26, and these shares are also intended to be cancelled in the future to boost shareholder value.

The company's leadership is also participating in share purchases to strengthen responsible management. Key executives, including CEO Kwon Yi-hyung, Vice Presidents Jo In-han and Hong Deung-ho, and Director Lee Jae-chang, have recently purchased 50 million KRW worth of company stock each. This move is interpreted as a signal of the management's confidence in the company's growth and their commitment to supporting the stock price.

Moving forward, Mgame plans to diversify its shareholder return policy by introducing quarterly or semi-annual dividends. Specific dividend schedules and methods will be disclosed once finalized. CEO Kwon Yi-hyung stated, "This treasury share cancellation and the additional buyback are extensions of our previously announced corporate value enhancement plan, demonstrating our firm commitment to sustainable growth and shareholder value." He added, "We will continue to practice consistent shareholder returns based on stable revenue generation and maintain our shareholder-friendly management approach as we grow alongside our shareholders."
