The Gwangju Information & Culture Industry Promotion Agency (GICON) is officially calling for amateur talent to join the 18th KeG (President's Cup Amateur eSports Tournament) qualifiers.

The KeG is a domestic amateur staple hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. This regional qualifier is hosted by Gwangju Metropolitan City and managed by GICON. Notably, this will be the final tournament where Gwangju and South Jeolla Province select their representatives separately before their administrative integration on July 1st.

The Gwangju qualifiers will take place on July 25th at the Gwangju eSports Arena. The event features three titles: League of Legends (team), FC Online (individual), and Brawl Stars (team). For Eternal Return, the local franchise GJ Slasher has already secured its spot in the national finals.

The winners in each category will advance to the 18th KeG national finals, which are scheduled to be held in Gyeongju, Gyeongsangbuk-do, from August 14th to 16th.

You can sign up via the GGGL platform between July 3rd and 17th. Participation is open to any amateur who has no history as a professional or semi-pro player.
