Cygames announced on the 10th that the Shadowverse: Worlds Beyond offline event, 'Shadow Friends 2026', will be held, and that they are currently accepting applications for participants. This event marks the first offline gathering in six years and will take place on the 25th at 11:00 AM at the Illustar Stage on the 12th floor of the Hyundai Department Store Sinchon branch.

Applications for the event can be submitted via the official special page until the 15th. Selection results will be available on the 17th at 6:00 PM via the official tournament app, 'Shadowverse: WB Tournament Navigator', or through the email address provided during registration. Notably, this is the first domestic event to utilize the tournament app since it received its Korean language update, providing improved convenience for participants.

The tournament will feature a single-game Swiss system qualifier using two decks, followed by a best-of-three (BO3) single-elimination bracket for the semi-finals and the final. The winner will receive a prize of 700,000 KRW, the runner-up 400,000 KRW, and the two third-place finishers 200,000 KRW each. Additionally, all participants will be provided with official merchandise, snacks, and a meal based on their qualifier performance. Beyond the tournament, various participatory events such as lucky draws will be held to provide entertainment for all attendees.
