XD has hosted its standalone offline event, 2026 Torchcon, where the developer pulled back the curtain on the upcoming SS13 Afterlight season for its hack-and-slash action title, Torchlight: Infinite.

Marking its second annual outing, the event took place on the 11th at the West Bund Art Center in Shanghai, China. Players from across the globe joined the development team on-site for a packed schedule of season previews, Q&A sessions, and interactive experiences, all broadcast live via the official YouTube channel. For those in Korea, the festivities extended to an exclusive Shanghai invitation programme alongside a dedicated watch party in Seoul.

The preview highlighted the new season content scheduled for an update on the 17th. This season centres on purifying malevolent spirits within the Otherworld, tasking players with activating special objects and purging various spirits to secure loot. The season introduces bespoke systems that offer unique combat scenarios or bonus rewards based on individual playstyles. Furthermore, the event debuted a new hero trait, 'Hesper Serena', which pivots on ground-based skills to deliver a fresh, distinct area-of-effect combat style and expanded build versatility.

Beyond these additions, the season introduces a raft of updates including new ground skills, a divinity growth system, fresh challenge content, improvements to farming loops, and refinements to both the marketplace and general quality-of-life features.
