Major9, the developer and publisher behind the RPG Outerplane, has kicked off the season with a massive update, introducing a new limited-time companion: Heatwave Cop Delta.

Heatwave Cop Delta is a reinterpretation of the popular character Delta, now sporting a summer resort police theme. This Earth-element speedster excels as a damage dealer, boasting the ability to ignore enemy defensive stats.

The developer also launched a fresh event dungeon, 'Automaton of the Horizon.' The narrative follows Delta as the character manages an artificial beach, tasking players with resolving various incidents. Players can grind for growth materials and items, which can then be swapped for rewards at a dedicated shop. The dungeon's first week of content opened on July 14, with the second wave arriving on July 21, and the event remains live until 9:00 AM on August 4.

A flurry of summer-themed events and content drops accompanies the update. Daily missions, a lucky roulette, and login bonuses are handing out gacha tickets and growth resources. Furthermore, new summer costumes for Monad Yota, Demiurge Luna, Viela, and Karen have been added to the wardrobe. The boss content, Joint Challenge, also sees the start of a new Shichifusha season to freshen up your combat experience.

In other news, Major9 is set to attend Comic World Summer 2026, held at KINTEX in Goyang, Gyeonggi-do, from July 18 to 19. The developer will operate a standalone booth styled as a summer resort. Fans visiting the site can expect various participatory events and exclusive merchandise. Cosplayers Rett and Mieum will be in attendance, and on July 18, model Kang In-kyung will join the booth to engage directly with the community.
