In the civil war match that took place after all LCK teams picked up a win, DK's late-game masterstroke against T1 certainly caught the eye. Trailing by over 2,000 gold, DK boldly initiated and secured the Elder Dragon, followed by an ace where the team wiped out all five T1 players to pull off a thrilling comeback victory.

Kellin, who was named POG in DK's opening Worlds match against G2, managed to turn the tide of a disadvantaged game once again against T1 with a decisive super play. Securing two wins through focused gameplay, DK went on to defeat MKOI in the match on October 26, claiming three straight wins to become the first team to reach the quarterfinals.
