5minlab, a creative studio under Krafton, has concluded the first global closed beta test for its life simulation game, Dinkum Together. 5minlab confirmed player interest and engagement levels through this test and is continuing the development process to enhance the game's quality based on the diverse feedback collected.

This closed beta test was conducted for users in South Korea and the United States. It saw high participation from the recruitment stage, and the schedule was extended once following requests from users who wanted more time. Although this test was conducted with an early development build that excluded multiplayer and social features, users showed high engagement with life simulation-focused content such as exploration, town growth, crafting, and construction.

In the feedback collected after the test, opinions regarding the composition and volume of early-game content were prominent. As gameplay progressed, specific improvements regarding game balance, user interface and experience (UI/UX), and convenience were received. Additionally, even without specific survey questions, many users expressed anticipation for the multiplayer and social features to be added in the future.

5minlab plans to actively reflect the feedback obtained from the closed beta test to refine the gameplay and build a stable service environment in preparation for the official launch. Park Moon-hyung, CEO of 5minlab, stated, "Through this test, we were able to confirm the interest and diverse opinions sent by our users," adding, "We will do our best to incorporate this valuable feedback into the development process to present a more polished version of 'Dinkum Together'."
