Network features vary by platform. The Nintendo Switch 2 supports both local wireless play and online multiplayer via game chat, though the latter requires a paid Nintendo Switch Online subscription. Curiously, the standard Nintendo Switch and PS5 versions do not support online remote multiplayer, and the Nintendo Switch version is strictly a digital-only release.
