Nexon announced on the 16th that it is kicking off a weapon skin design contest to celebrate the 21st anniversary of Sudden Attack. The event aims to turn user concepts into actual in-game weapon skins, and the submission window remains open until August 5th.

You can enter the contest with nothing more than a rough concept or an idea board. Every participant will receive 500 SP. If you take part in the main voting phase starting August 13th, you will also receive the September Monthly Character Multi-Count. Up to 10 finalists will receive 50,000 Nexon Cash and 21st-anniversary merchandise, while the grand prize winner will receive 500,000 Nexon Cash, a permanent MG1 version of their winning skin, and the 'Gold Hand' text title.

In tandem, Nexon has rolled out the third update of its 2026 weapon overhaul. This update focuses on balancing the scales between secondary and primary weapons while boosting the utility of the latter. The FAMAS has had its base damage increased for maximum impact, while the SIG556 and ANR have received reduced recoil for improved stability. On the other hand, the TAC-9 has had its destructive power adjusted to maintain balance.
