A massive expansion mod has arrived for Stardew Valley, allowing you to run your very own shop.

On the 25th, developer Rachel Chen released the Stardew Valley mod 'Farmers Store'. With this mod, you can open whatever business you fancy, from grocery stores and restaurants to museums. You get full control over the operation, including ordering stock from wholesalers, filling shelves, and setting the prices for your goods.

Furthermore, a detailed management system is implemented where you can hire villagers as staff, assign tasks, and even manage their stress levels by providing meals. Additionally, obtaining specific licenses unlocks new business categories, broadening the range of products available for sale.

Once your shop is open, villagers will wander in to browse and purchase your items. You can maximize the value of your goods through savvy advertising; play your cards right, and you could sell humble parsnips for more than high-end fruit wine. The experience goes beyond simple transactions, as customers leave reviews based on product quality, pricing, store environment, and your marketing efforts.

Farmers Store is available for download on the Nexus Mods website, with multiplayer functionality planned for the near future. While it does not currently support Korean, localization efforts are ongoing with the help of AI translation.
