Riot Games and the Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on the 29th at the Riot Games Auditorium, located at Parnas Tower in Gangnam-gu, Seoul. The signing ceremony was attended by Riot Games Korea CEO Jo Hyuk-jin, Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra CEO Jeong Jae-wal, and other key representatives from both organizations.

The two organizations will cooperate to promote the excellence of gaming, esports content, and 'K-Classic,' and to provide differentiated content that transcends genres. Riot Games plans to showcase the world of its global hit, League of Legends, and the narrative of its LCK esports brand through classical performances, offering a unique experience to fans of various generations. Through this, the Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra aims to attract new audiences and promote the popularization of classical music.

Riot Games has previously held successful concerts linking League of Legends with classical music. They hosted the 'League of Legends Live: The Orchestra' concert at the Sejong Center for the Performing Arts in 2021 and also presented a classical performance during the Mid-Season Invitational held in Busan in 2022. Both organizations will discuss specific collaboration details within this year and prepare a roadmap to begin full-scale cooperation starting next year.
