Below the 8-second mark, the competition is fierce. 'No-show-ppak-keu-sseu-ral' migrated from Assassin to Vanguard and hit a 9-second record, a mark now matched by Night Ranger 'ROYAL Sal-gwi' and Gunslinger 'IM Jae-young'. There is a clear trend: those who can shave their time down toward 10 seconds on the 50th floor climb the charts, while the rest are pushed out. The average clear time for the Top 20 has dropped from 13 seconds to 12.

Furthermore, the top tier of clear times is currently dominated by the Gunslinger, Night Ranger, Vanguard, and Elementalist. The Assassin has fallen out of the Top 20 entirely, with its best record plummeting to 26 seconds on the 50th floor. After a long-standing rivalry between these classes, the Gunslinger has claimed victory. Expect a new competitive landscape as the popular picks at the top of the food chain shift.

Tower of Chaos: Top 5 Class Rankings

Moving on to the popularity rankings for Raven 2 classes, while most classes are shaving off seconds, the Divine Caster and Assassin have actually seen their clear times increase. This is a direct consequence of the recent class changes. However, the two find themselves in very different situations due to the calibre of their respective ranker pools. While the Divine Caster consistently held 2nd place for rankers reaching the 40th floor, the Assassin remained in the doldrums. Naturally, the Assassin took a harder hit from the migration. After 'ROYAL May' and 'Raon-dal-su' swapped to Elementalist, the Divine Caster saw 'ROYAL Cheon-sa-da' and 'ROYAL Satan' climb the ranks, while 'Yaru-ryaru-yaryaryaru-ryaru' held firm to maintain momentum.

The Vanguard and Night Ranger saw their top records drop sharply from 15 seconds to 9 seconds on the 50th floor. For the former, this is the result of 'No-show-ppak-keu-sseu-ral' moving from Assassin to Vanguard. Additionally, former Top 5 mainstays 'ROYAL Bang-tan' and 'Raon-turn' have improved their times. As for the Night Ranger, 'ROYAL Sal-gwi' maintains the top spot. With 2nd place 'Raon-ray' switching to Gunslinger, 'SiKaMoon' and 'TOP Kai' moved up a notch, with 'TOP Kai' notably dropping from 23 seconds to 19.

Furthermore, there is a clear exodus of veteran Tower of Chaos rankers toward the Elementalist and Gunslinger roles—the aforementioned moves by 'ROYAL May' and 'Raon-ray' are prime examples. Tower of Chaos: Class Share Among Rankers

Finally, let's look at the class distribution of Raven 2 Tower of Chaos rankers. While the share of Elementalist and Gunslinger appears to have dipped, this is simply because the total pool of tracked rankers expanded from 617 to 874. In absolute terms, the number of Elementalist rankers actually rose by 19 and Gunslingers by 14. Vanguard rankers also increased, though by a smaller margin of two, which is why it lost its 4th-place share to the Elementalist.

Further down the list, the Destroyer climbed a spot, taking the Assassin's place. With nine players breaking the 40th-floor barrier, the Destroyer has bolstered its position. The Assassin had two players clear the 40th floor, but the growth is too sluggish, and as mentioned, existing rankers are jumping ship. With only five rankers on the 50th floor—the same as the 10th-place Warlord—the class's upper echelons are looking thin. It remains to be seen if the Assassin can regain its former standing.
