The team behind 'Sudden Attack', led by Baek Seung-hoon, unveiled their new game 'Waste The Fallen' on the 13th.

This title is an extraction shooter set in 'Deep', a virtual world that has collapsed for unknown reasons. Players take on the role of a 'Deviant', a scavenger struggling to survive in the ruins, and enter abandoned zones either solo or in a squad of up to three. The goal is to collect essential supplies, including weapons, materials, and rare items, and extract safely.

Each zone features procedurally generated environments and enemy patrol routes. As players venture deeper, the value of the loot increases, but so does the level of threat. Players must face not only the monstrous 'Fallen' and harsh environmental conditions but also the attacks of other survivors. Upon successfully returning to a safe zone, players can use the collected resources to upgrade their base and equipment.

A closed beta test for the North American region has also been announced. The test will run for four days from September 4 at 7:00 PM to September 8 at 11:59 PM (local time), and the developers plan to use this to assess the overall quality of the game.

Meanwhile, Royal Crow CEO Baek Seung-hoon is the individual who oversaw the development of 'Sudden Attack' and 'Dekaron' during his time at GameHi. He later founded ThumbAge and introduced 'Heroes for Kakao'. In October 2018, he stepped down from his CEO position to establish the subsidiary Royal Crow and focus on development. In March 2022, he released the shooter 'CROWZ', but it failed to gain traction and the service was terminated the following year.
