Gravity launched 'RAGNAROK Something weird PORING', a set of emoticons for the LINE messenger, on the 21st. These emoticons were created using Poring, the iconic monster from the company's flagship title, Ragnarok.

The company stated that the release was intended to commemorate the 24th anniversary of the domestic service of the PC MMORPG 'Ragnarok Online' and to provide a unique experience for users. They also expressed expectations that it would foster a sense of familiarity among new users of the recently launched PC MMORPG 'Ragnarok Zero: Global' and the companion title 'Get Poring'.

The 'RAGNAROK Something weird PORING' emoticon collection reinterprets the classic Poring, the representative monster of the Ragnarok IP, with a casual concept. By emphasizing free-spirited and slightly clumsy character lines, rich expressions, and diverse actions, it differentiates itself from previous Ragnarok IP emoticons. The set consists of 40 items, including 31 Poring character emoticons and 9 signature in-game icons.

Notably, these were released as emoticons rather than the traditional sticker format to increase versatility. Users can utilize them in various ways, such as using them in a mini size alongside text, as reactions, or by placing them in sequences. The emoticons are available in approximately 200 regions where the LINE messenger service is provided, excluding Japan, and can be purchased for 1,900 KRW in the LINE sticker shop.

Park Jin-on, Team Lead of Gravity's IP Business Team, stated, "We planned this fresh style of emoticons, different from those previously released, to provide users with a unique form of enjoyment."
