Netmarble has officially kicked off pre-registration for the 'NEW WORLD' Season 2 update in Arthdal Chronicles: Three Factions.

Launched back in July, the NEW WORLD initiative adopted the slogan 'NO packages, NO gacha,' aiming to build a structure where the time and effort invested by players translate directly into character progression. Furthermore, the system encourages an economy where items earned through gameplay can be traded, allowing value to circulate naturally among the player base.

Those who sign up for the Season 2 pre-registration will receive a bundle of rewards, including two 11-draw Shining Awakening Spirit Summon Tickets, two 11-draw Shining Awakening Mount Summon Tickets, two 11-draw Shining Weapon Appearance Summon Tickets, two 11-draw Shining Dream Stone Summon Tickets, and one Ancient Accessory Selection Box containing four types.

During the first online developer broadcast held on August 20, the studio shared the results of the July update and the roadmap for Season 2. Netmarble F&C Producer Lee Jung-won noted that the structure where players earn gems via the exchange and reinvest them into character growth is circulating exactly as intended. The producer added that the core essence of the update—'play equals growth'—was successfully achieved thanks to the players who have been fully engaging with the experience.
