Krafton rolled out a fresh batch of five titles, spearheaded by a brand-new PUBG spin-off titled 'PUBG: DED.NET', during the Gamescom Opening Night Live broadcast.

Krafton dropped trailers for these five fresh projects on August 26 during the Gamescom Opening Night Live (hereinafter ONL) event held in Cologne, Germany.

The ONL showcase featured ▲Project ZETA ▲Age Twisters ▲PUBG: DED.NET (hereinafter DED.NET) ▲NO LAW ▲TARAE: The Unbound. Each title highlighted its unique universe and core gameplay mechanics.

The PUBG franchise newcomer, 'PUBG: DED.NET', is a multiplayer FPS set in the 1996 Cascadia region, drawing heavy inspiration from the American Pacific Northwest of the 1990s. The developer sequentially introduced the character designs, gunplay, and a roguelite progression system that carries over between matches. The latter half of the demonstration ramped up the scale, showcasing how special abilities and various playstyles intertwine to create chaotic, unpredictable combat scenarios.

Next up, 'NO LAW' treated viewers to a gameplay footage drop. Positioned as an open-world shooter RPG, the footage tracks the protagonist, Grey Harker, through the eyes of various townspeople who perceive the character differently, leading into a blend of stealth, hacking, and hardcore shooting. The video put a strong spotlight on high player agency, showing how Grey Harker tackles situations and missions through wildly different approaches.

Project ZETA is an online PvP experience where teams of three clash in a 12-player brawl. The showcase focused heavily on the core objective of securing and returning the 'Prism'. The video follows a trio made up of Scalione, Inho, and Piper as the squad slays a boss to grab the Prism and heads for the extraction point. En route, rival squads ambush the group, escalating the skirmish into a chaotic multi-team firefight where character skills and teamwork dictate who survives.

TARAE: The Unbound also made its global debut, pulling back the curtain on its lore and gameplay. Set in an Eastern dark fantasy universe, the action RPG kicks off with narration from the shadowy mastermind 'Agasa', setting the stage for a heroic crusade against a cataclysm before diving into visceral combat. Expect sweeping crowd-clearing skills and intense, pressure-cooker boss battles.

Age Twisters, a two-player co-op adventure, follows a grandfather and his granddaughter on a poignant journey to retrace the steps of a missing daughter and mother. The footage showcased players seamlessly shifting across four distinct age brackets—child, youth, adult, and elder—leveraging each life stage's unique abilities to clear puzzles and stages.
