Look, let's be honest, we have all been waiting anxiously for any morsel of Grand Theft Auto VI details to finally break through that thick corporate veil.

Rockstar Games decided to drop a massive present on us, teaming up with Netflix via their official YouTube channels to release a trailer titled 'Grand Theft Auto VI: Extended Look'. Clocking in at around 27 minutes, the footage puts the spotlight firmly on the protagonists Jason and Lucia, showing off a flurry of in-game sequences and systems set against the neon-soaked backdrop of Vice City.

The absolute first thing that catches the eye is how bloody natural the character movement feels now. The walks, facial expressions, and physical gestures are rendered with enough detail to rival real people, while NPCs actually react dynamically to the player's shenanigans and the surrounding chaos. On top of that, we get all sorts of cheeky new animations, like holding a bag with one hand while desperately pumping and firing a shotgun with the other.

Combat has also gained some serious depth. Beyond your standard brawling and gunfights, you can now mash buttons to engage in intense power struggles, and landing a critical hit on an enemy treats you to a dramatic slow-motion close-up as they hit the floor. If that is not enough, you can trigger a skill to slow down time and expose vital weak spots, or experience quick-time events right in the middle of mission cutscenes to pull off flashy assaults.

Activities outside of the core missions have expanded massively too. Aside from holding up local stores and robbing banks for a quick payday, your leisure options have ballooned to include basketball, scuba diving, kayaking, and mountain racing.

Grand Theft Auto VI is scheduled to land on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S on November 19, complete with official Korean subtitle support.
