Webzen has announced a massive gratitude festival event to celebrate the 1st anniversary of its MMORPG, R2 Origin.

The gratitude festival kicks off with a 'Weapon Restoration Support Event'. This event offers free restoration of one weapon destroyed from the launch of R2 Origin service up until September 10. Players can apply starting September 17 through the 'Weapon Restoration Support Application' menu on the event page. Eligible items range from hero-grade weapons with an enhancement level of 10 or higher up to legendary-grade weapons.

A 1st anniversary crafting event is also rolling out. Players can consume 1st Anniversary Cake items to guarantee the creation of a '1st Anniversary Transformation'. In addition, protection scrolls that add destruction protection counts with a certain probability to legendary-grade armor and accessories can also be crafted.
